I grew up surrounded by antiques — my father was a passionate collector, and his eye became mine. As a little girl, he used to say we would become antique dealers together one day. We never did. But I carry him in every piece I choose.

For over twenty years, Matieu and I renovated Parisian apartments, learning that if you want something done well, you do it yourself. When we moved to Dublin, we took on Mount Verona — a 19th-century house, no heating, pretty wrecked, stunning bones. Light was the obsession.
